Truck engine parts can be divided into the following categories:
Crank-connecting rod mechanism: including connecting rod, crankshaft, bearing, flywheel, piston, piston ring, piston pin, crankshaft oil seal, etc. These parts convert fuel heat energy into mechanical energy to drive the vehicle.
Valve mechanism: including cylinder head, valve cover, camshaft, valve, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, air filter, muffler, three-way catalytic converter, supercharger, intercooler, etc. The valve mechanism controls the intake and exhaust to ensure the normal operation of the engine.
Cooling system: composed of water tank, water pump, radiator, fan, thermostat, water temperature gauge, etc. The cooling system dissipates the internal heat of the engine to maintain normal operating temperature.
Lubrication system: including oil pump, filter, oil filter, oil channel, pressure limiting valve, oil gauge, pressure sensing plug and oil dipstick, etc. The lubrication system keeps the internal parts of the engine lubricated, reduces wear and extends life.
Fuel system: For gasoline engines, it includes the gasoline tank, gasoline meter, gasoline pipe, gasoline filter, gasoline pump, carburetor, air filter, intake and exhaust manifold, etc. The fuel system is responsible for delivering fuel to the engine to provide power. Ignition system: It includes spark plugs, high-voltage wires, high-voltage coils, distributors, etc. The ignition system generates sparks to ignite the fuel and drive the engine to run. Other accessories: Such as timing chain or timing belt (to ensure that the engine components work in the correct order and time), engine bracket (to fix the engine on the frame and absorb vibration), engine hood (to protect the engine from dust and moisture intrusion), etc.
