Truck engine accessories are an important part of truck engines, mainly including the following categories:
Cylinder block: including cylinder block, cylinder head, cylinder gasket, oil pan, cylinder head cover and main bearing cap. The cylinder block is the main body of the engine, connecting each cylinder and crankcase as a whole, and is the skeleton for installing the crankshaft, piston and other parts and accessories. The function of the cylinder head is to seal the cylinder, and together with the piston to form a combustion chamber, and withstand the high temperature and high pressure gas pressure. The oil pan is the lower half of the crankcase, which is used to seal the crankcase and store engine oil.
Crankshaft flywheel assembly: including crankshaft, flywheel, crankshaft pulley and timing gear. The crankshaft receives the force from the connecting rod, converts the up and down movement of the piston into the rotational movement of the crankshaft and outputs power. The flywheel is installed at the rear of the engine and has the function of storing energy and installing the clutch.
Piston connecting rod assembly: including piston, piston ring, piston pin, connecting rod, connecting rod bearing and connecting rod bearing cap. The piston is a reciprocating part in the engine cylinder, and the top part is the main part of the combustion chamber. The piston ring is embedded in the piston groove to seal the gap between the piston and the cylinder to prevent gas leakage. The connecting rod transmits the force of the piston to the crankshaft.
Valve mechanism: including valves, valve springs, valve guides, etc. Its function is to open and close the valves at a fixed time according to the working requirements of the engine to ensure sufficient and continuous combustion of fuel.
Fuel system: including high-pressure pumps, injectors, etc. The function of the high-pressure pump is to compress the fuel into a high-pressure state to meet the engine's requirements for fuel injection pressure and injection volume. The injector atomizes the fuel and distributes it in the engine combustion chamber.
Cooling system: including radiators, water pumps, etc. Its function is to dissipate the heat generated when the engine is working and keep the engine working at a suitable temperature.
Lubrication system: including oil pumps, oil filters, etc. The oil pump provides pressurized oil, and the oil filter filters impurities in the oil to ensure that all engine parts are well lubricated.
Intake system and exhaust system: including air filter, intake pipe, exhaust pipe, muffler, etc. The air filter filters the air entering the engine to prevent dust from entering the cylinder. The exhaust pipe and muffler are responsible for discharging exhaust gas and reducing noise.
